Sagittarius August 2018 Horoscope

Normally, you might be convinced that you have all the answers, Sagittarius — or at least a very strong opinion. This month, however, life is going to teach you a thing or two. Suddenly, you’re likely to find yourself faced with a situation (or multiple scenarios) where you know nothing and you aren’t even going to try and pretend that you do. This might feel slightly uncomfortable since you’re used to being the wise sage most of the time. In August, however, you might find yourself on the completely opposite end of the learning curve spectrum as you become a very humble student. Yep, it seems as if the universe has decided that this is your time for being schooled.

As class begins in August you’re likely to feel extremely confused about something. Mercury will be retrograde in your 9th House of the Higher Mind while Mars will be retrograde in your 3rd House of Communication. Translation? You honestly don’t have the normal capacity of mental energy you’re used to. If there is a subject you’re trying to learn or master you might seriously need to take a step back and review material or consider hiring a tutor. Another possibility is that you will become frustrated because something you believed in so much — something you had so much passion about — might now reveal itself to be a gigantic disappointment. Or, you might come to terms with the fact that your current educational goals are no longer in line with what you want to do. Recognize that this intellectual realignment is not happening to completely deflate you. Quite the opposite actually.

After the Solar Eclipse on August 11 you might begin to understand that another project connecting to education, broadcasting, advertising, or international affairs is speaking to your heart much more than whatever you have been pursuing up until now. Once Mercury goes direct on August 19 you’ll notice that the cobwebs begin to clear and you can start moving toward this new goal.

In other news, a Full Moon in your 4th House of Home and Family on August 26 might bring resolution about a family problem you thought was hopeless. The solution has been there all along but up until now, you just couldn’t see it. You’ll be relieved and so, so grateful.
